Admission of identity
Il mondo rapidamente scivola via, dinanzi ai nostri occhi, come fossimo passeggeri di un battello che discende lungo il corso di un fiume.
Cerchiamo di trattenerne dei frammenti, per dare un senso e un valore ai mutevoli scenari che appaiono, ed immediatamente svaniscono, al nostro passaggio.
Le immagini che affiorano, al di là delle intenzioni, parlano inevitabilmente di noi.
Ad esse affidiamo il compito di definire la nostra identità.
In questo lavoro in progress ho cercato di evidenziare l’aspetto soggettivo e transitorio che permea l’immagine fotografica attraverso presenze eteree - a volte di ignari passanti a volte dell’autore stesso-.
In altre infine ho cercato di definire, attraverso l’uso delle mani all’interno dell’inquadratura, la necessità di racchiudere e circoscrivere una piccola parte del mondo in cui riconoscersi.

Admission of identity
The world rapidly slides away, in front of our eyes, as if we were passengers of a boat going down the river.
We try to keep some fragments, as to give meaning and value to the changeable sceneries which appear on our way and immediately disappear.
The images coming to surface, beyond any intention, inevitably speak of us.
The task to define our identity is committed to them.
In this work in progress I have tried to emphasizes subjective and fleeting aspects which permeate the photographic image through ethereal presences - sometimes unaware passer-by sometimes the author himself -.
In some others at last I have tried to define, by the use of the hands within the frame, the need to contain and limit a little part of the world where to recognize oneself.
